Dr. Joanne Gribler received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Cincinnati, OH, where she was a 2-year Division I athlete for Cross Country and Track and Field. After sustaining injuries that precluded her from competing, she hung up her running shoes and picked up a swim cap – walking onto the University of Cincinnati’s Division I Swimming and Diving team, where she participated for her remaining two years. Upon graduating in 2010, Dr. Gribler went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH in 2014. Dr. Gribler relocated to DC in June 2016 and has decided to make The District her home.
An avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist, Dr. Gribler can be seen in and around the Capital region training for and competing in triathlons and other endurance sports events and has a special interest in treating these populations. Dr. Gribler employs her certifications in Manual and Dry Needling Trigger Point Therapies, the POSE Method of Running as well as a focus on improving biomechanics to achieve long-lasting positive outcomes for her patients. She also coaches endurance athletes and has a passion for bringing helping all those around her achieve beyond their limits.
